This 600w Electronic Ballast is supplied as a stand-alone ballast with a flying IEC lead so you can add any reflector fitted with an IEC socket to start growing. The ballast features both dim and boost functions, having the ability to control the light output from the lamp.

GSE electronic ballast can manage all kind of MH metal highlight and HPS high pressure sodium bulbs at 250-400-600W.

A UV- acid- and waterproof foil build in LED indicate the status and on 3knobs you can change the wattage. By steps from 660W-600W-400W-250W or with push and hold even step less from 660W to 250W. The ballast comes as a finish assembled product with 3m connector cable and 4m lamp cable to connect to the reflector E40. It is all waterproof sealed and have IP64 protection class.

The ballasts regulate the voltage supplied to the selected lamp, to the working lamp and to ignite the lamp, creating a high-voltage pulse after the interruption of the starter current. They are divided into two types - electromagnetic and electronic ballast. The difference between the two is that the electronic ballast does not require a starter and is usually lighter and less heated. Other advantages are the quieter operation of the conventional throttle, the increase in lamp life by 30% - 50% and the reduced pulsations of light output.

Electronic ballasts alter the flow of light bulb current using a series of induction coils that are separated from each other. Unlike magnetic ballasts, they use an induction coil rather than a series of coils. The impulse delivered from the ballast to the lamp is faster, which reduces the energy consumption. Electronic chokes do not heat up during operation.

The electronic version of Master gear has high power factor, lower power loss, open output circuit and short circuit protection.

The output power varies +/- 3% when the input voltage varies between 20% and 18%. Lamp voltage varies within ANSI standards. Stable output power, can increase lamp life by 30% and reduce color temperature deviation. Easy installation!
