Turn on the tester to the desired reading, shake to see the arrow turn left and right. If it swings, it means the device is working.
Stick the probe into the soil. Make sure the probe is in the soil at least 4 inches (10 cm) deep.

Instructions for use and reading of the measured value:

1. Ph value is set to level 6-8 by default
2. If during soil testing the ph arrow points to values in the range of 6-8, it means that the ph level is neutral and healthy
4. When the ph indicator is at the level of 6-8, it mostly means that the soil is in good condition. When it says 3.5 - 6, it means you need to take action
5. When you see the ph needle swinging after it is in the soil, it does not mean that the ph measurement has failed. It most often means your soil pH is healthy in the 6-8 range.

MW700 is a portable Lux meter designed to perform light measurements. It is supplied with a light sensor connected to the meter that measures from 0 to 50000 Lux. Average indoor lighting ranges from 100 to 1000 Lux and average outdoor sun lights about 50000 Lux. Lux is a unit that indicates the density of light that falls on a surface.

The MW700-WP is a portable Lux meter designed to perform light measurements. The instrument is supplied in a hard carrying case complete with a light sensor connected to the meter that measures from 0 to 50000 Lux. The light sensor is waterproof, suitable to verify the light intensity also at the bottom of your aquarium. The accuracy is ±6% of reading (full scale). The MW700-WP works with a 9V alkaline battery. The digital light meter (lux meter) is easy to use! It uses silicon sensors to sense the light around your plants.

It uses a silicon photo diode sensor that can accurately measure light emitted from a single source up to 432,000 Lux units, more than enough for an average-sized room. The Gavita Master EL2 controller has two outputs for optional External Contact Modules (ECM).

An external contactor module, ECM1, has been developed for EL2 controllers. Because the main controller operates on a low-voltage output, it is unable to switch additional equipment. With the ECM1, you can extend the functionality of your EL2 controller to switch auxiliary equipment such as heaters, dehumidifiers and CO2 equipment during lights on or lights off, according to the lighting hours set by the controller.

These contactor devices can switch a load of up to 15 amps while turning the lights on or off. Because ECMs are controlled by a low voltage signal, you can even place them close to the appliances themselves, allowing for easy installation and optimal flexibility. Lighting control at your fingertips!

Using a Gavita Master controller to control your e-series fixtures offers you maximum control, ease of use, plug and play installation and safety. Just connect the controller cables to the fixtures with the included T-splitter (see diagram), set the dials on the fixtures to EXT (External control), plug the controller and the fixtures directly into mains and you are set to go.

The controller can switch all the interconnected fixtures on and off with its internal timer, adjust them to your required output level (in percentage or exact output power) and even simulate sunrise and sunset to gradually adjust the climate in your grow room when your lights go on or off. This electronic controller replaces expensive lighting timers and contactors while preventing ballast current in-rush when switching on your lights.

Two very important features are the autodim function and emergency shut-down. When the temperature in your grow room rises beyond the control level of your climate control your crop can be damaged beyond recovery. The temperature probe senses this and will automatically dim the lights to not overshoot your safe temperature, and maintain it. The display and warning LED indicate when this happens, and also indicate if this has happened while you were away so you can correct the problem. If for any reason your climate control completely fails and the temperature rises to unacceptable levels the system will perform an emergency shutdown of all connected equipment. The alarm contact of the controller can be connected to your alarm system for instant notification.

Gavita Master controller EL2

Maximum control, ease of use, safety and easy installation. Simply connect the controller cables to your module using the included T-splitter, set the modules to EXT (external control), connect the module and controller to the mains and you are ready to use your lighting system.

The controller can turn on and off all modules connected to it (Model EL2 can control two separate rooms with up to 40 ballasts in each, or just one with up to 80 ballasts), can adjust the desired level of light emitted by the modules (percentage or as absolute value) and even mimics sunrise and sunset, by gradually starting and stopping the lamps when they are turned on and off.
