The digital light meter (lux meter) is easy to use! It uses silicon sensors to sense the light around your plants.
It uses a silicon photo diode sensor that can accurately measure light emitted from a single source up to 432,000 Lux units, more than enough for an average-sized room. The tester is cosine-corrected, meaning it doesn't need to be placed directly under the light source at a perfect 90 degree angle, just hold the tester off center or at a slight angle and it will still give an accurate reading.
The meter also features a low battery indicator. It comes with a 3V CR2032 lithium battery so it's ready to use straight away, and measurements are available in 3 different stages for precise and accurate light intensity readings.
