No power supply
Once connected to your water supply, the AQUAvalve in any AutoPot irrigation system controls the flow of water to your plants through simple gravity pressure from any size tank. No pumps, water pressure, electricity or timers are ever needed.
Plant control
The AQUAvalve is an extremely sensitive feeder. It opens to supply water to a depth of 20mm and then closes. Once the plants have used this supply, the AQUAvalve opens again to repeat the cycle. There is no need to guess at the plant requirements, compensate for conditions or recalibrate unnecessary pumps or computers.
AQUAvalve5 – 66% larger inlet
Growers’ needs are constantly evolving, served by an ever-more diverse range of nutrients. With a 5mm inlet, the new AQUAvalve5 rises to the challenge of delivering the widest range of nutrients at a faster flow rate for faster fills, maximizing system efficiency. Maintenance is reduced and the risk of blockages is minimized.
Compatibility
AutoPot irrigation systems, system modules and irrigation kits now come as standard with a large bore AQUAvalve5 and with 9mm, 9-16mm and 16mm tubing and fittings.
The original AQUAvalve, 6mm tubing and 6mm fittings previously supplied with the AutoPot range are still available as spare parts, as are 16-6mm fittings.
Your existing 1Pot, XL, XL SmartPot and easy2grow trays, pots and lids will accept the new AQUAvalve5, 9mm fittings and 9mm tubing. Their design remains unchanged.
The newly sold Tray Systems, AQUAbox Straight, AQUAbox Spyder and 47L/30L tanks are drilled to accept 9mm pipe and fittings.
Your existing Tray System, AQUAbox Straight and AQUAbox Spyder will fit the AQUAvalve5, but you will need to drill the existing holes to 12.5mm. Use a 9mm sleeve and 9mm golf filter to pass the 9mm tube required for the AQUAvalve5.
Your existing 47L/30L tanks require drilling existing holes to 12.5mm. Use a 9mm sleeve and 9mm golf filter to pass the 9mm pipe required for the AQUAvalve5.
The FlexiTank and FlexiTank Pro connectors are unchanged. Only when connecting directly to a 9mm pipe do they require the new 16mm-9mm filter and adapter.
