Swelling blocks for seeds and cuttings
Convenient and safe substrate for seed germination and rooting of cuttings (clones). When watered, they swell and are ready for use. The blocks are reinforced with a biodegradable paper covering that keeps them intact while roots can easily grow through it.
Instructions:
Fill a tray with 2 and a half centimeters of water. The pellets will absorb all of the moisture and expand to their full height of about 2.3-4 centimeters. It can take the pellets 30 to 60 minutes to fully absorb water, and in drier conditions, they may require more water to fully hydrate. If there is excess water left in the tray, pour it out before planting the seeds.

Landscaping:
After hydration, the pellets perform the function of a pot filled with soil. The seeds are sown at the correct depth at the top of the pellets, usually with two seeds planted in each pellet in case one of the seeds fails to germinate. However, covering the pellets with a layer of nylon retains moisture during germination, so the pellets do not need additional watering until the seeds germinate. Once the seedlings show, the nylon is removed and the plants require only basic care to continue growing well.
Seedling care:
Most indoor seedlings require six to eight hours of sunlight, so place them near a window. The peat mixture in the pellets retains moisture well, but the plants should be watered when the surface of the pellets starts to dry out. You pour 2 and a half centimeters of water into the pan , which will allow the pellets to absorb the amount of moisture they need. After the surface of the pellet becomes wet, the remaining water is poured from the pan. Jiffy pellets contain fertilizer to feed seedlings until transplanting, so there is no need to add additional fertilizers.
