Ball diffusers are stones that distribute oxygen evenly in the water in the feed tank. It is the ideal element to oxygenate and clean the water. It is used in combination with air pumps and silicone tubing.
If the roots do not have enough oxygen in the root zone (because the water is excessively hot/because the substrate is very fine), the plant stops absorbing nutrients properly.
