Athena Cleanse 0.94L - Cleanser agent

Athena Cleanse is made from hypochlorous acid. This mild acid is obtained from salt and a proprietary electrochemical treatment process. The result is a unique chemical with powerful oxidizing properties that can be used to reduce mineral scale in irrigation systems.

Basic functions

• Non-toxic and non-nutritive - safe to use on plants even in the growing phase
• Works to remove scale from irrigation systems and break down residual organic matter
• Effective as a final flush to remove mineral deposits (scale) in nutrient media and irrigation lines
• Very low TDS - Does not disturb the mineral balance
• Keeps the irrigation system cleaner and works efficiently for longer

Systems Support:
Irrigation systems that are regularly maintained with Athena Cleanse will last longer and perform more optimally all the time. This is because Cleanse helps break down mineral scale and other build-up in the system.

Regular use:
Use a diluted mixture of 2-5 mL per 4 liters of water (1 gallon) for regular maintenance.

Severe conditions:
Increase dosage to 5-10 mL per 4 liters (1 gallon) of water to combat harsh tank and grow medium conditions.

RDWC and other recirculating hydroponic systems :

• Any recirculating or deep water culture (DWC) irrigation system should use Athena Cleanse to remove mineral residue and reduce scale. Using Cleanse in a recirculating or DWC system helps break down lower solubility materials such as mineral complexes that are no longer available to plants. Media/System Flush Mixture:

• Use Athena Cleanse in an amount of 5-10 mL/4 liters (1 gallon) of water during the final rinse stage to reduce residual mineral build-up.
• The mild acid used in Athena Cleanse does not affect plant growth or development and as such the product can be used to descale irrigation systems during all stages of growth.
