- Use the lamp with compatible electrical equipment. Use only UL and CSA approved ballasts.
- Keep the lamp in direct contact with rain, sleet or snow to avoid breaking due to temperature changes.
- Install the lamp firmly but without excessive force in the stand to reduce vibration.
- Do not use excessive force to prevent the bulb from breaking. This is a vacuum-insulated lamp and can burst. As a safety precaution, wear goggles when installing or removing the lamp.
- Replace the bulb if it is scratched, cracked or damaged.
- Turn off the lamp and allow it to cool before moving to avoid possible electric shock or burns.
- Do not use the lamp with other luminaires, as this may further increase the voltage. Replace the lamp at the end of its life cycle.
CHARACTERISTICS FOR USE:
1) This lamp needs a few minutes to restart and reach full brightness after electrical outages. For full load, add extra (ballast) watts to the watts of the lamp.
2) This lamp can work in any position.
The lamp is provided with a warranty for defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. During this period, the appliance can be returned to the seller with proof of purchase (receipt). If a defect is found, it will be repaired or replaced.
This warranty does NOT cover misuse of the appliance, accidental damage (dropping, wetting), repairs by unauthorized persons.
