OSRAM PLANTASTAR ® was developed in order to satisfy the needs of gardeners for a quality light source, specially emitting in a spectrum suitable for growing plants in both phases - growth and flowering

With the entry of PLANTASTAR ® sodium lamps on the market, Osram provides a light source that meets all the requirements for good lighting for growing plants.

 

Low maintenance costs, extremely constant luminous flux during the first 20,000 operating hours, optimized design with patented damper, new, reinforced sodium-resistant ceramics guaranteeing a long life, laser welding ensures precise geometric connection and consistently high quality due to optimized production method are part of the characteristics of this lamp! After the period of 20,000 rab. hours or every two years it is recommended to change the lamps.

  • Use the lamp with compatible electrical equipment. Use only UL and CSA approved choke.
  • Keep the lamp out of direct contact with rain, sleet or snow to avoid breakage due to temperature change.
  • Mount the lamp firmly but without excessive force in the holder to reduce vibration.
  • Do not use excessive force to avoid breaking the bulb. This is a vacuum insulated lamp and can burst.
  • Replace the bulb if it is scratched, cracked or damaged.
  • Turn off the lamp and allow it to cool before moving to avoid possible electric shock or burns. As a safety measure, wear goggles when installing or removing the lamp.
  • Replace the lamp at the end of its life cycle.

Warranty information:

The lamp is guaranteed against defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. During this period, the device can be returned to the seller with proof of purchase (receipt). If a defect is found, it will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does NOT cover misuse of the device, accidental damage (abrasion, getting wet), repairs by unauthorized persons.
