Mechanism of operation:
The device heats the sulfur using a hot plate, just to the point where it begins to slowly evaporate in the growing room.

With carefully controlled heating processes, HotBox does not produce any toxic combustion products (e.g. sulfur dioxide).

Only sulfur fumes are released, which kill the mold pores and prevent the spread of fungi and rot. Sulfur is toxic to spider mites and various types of plant pests. The HotBox provides 2g. of concentrated sulfur in an 8 hour period, ensuring zero loss.

The Hotbox Sulfume is designed for the safe and efficient evaporation of sulfur in greenhouses. Hang the Hotbox Sulfume at least 1 meter below the ceiling to provide a tunnel effect. Connect to your electrical supply.

Make sure it is securely grounded.

Fill the glass halfway with sulfur to the marker inside the glass.

Overfilling will cause the unit to malfunction, as the self-regulating element will not be able to melt a larger amount of sulfur.
If the infestation is already present, we recommend using Hotbox Sulfume for up to 2-4 hours per night (close all vents and doors) until the infestation is destroyed. If you are using Hotbox Sulfume as a preventative measure, we recommend using it for around 2 hours per night, 2 or 3 times a week.

The sulfur container in the HotBox should be filled to the mark and then placed on the inner hot plate. During the treatment, it is imperative to turn off the air exchange in the room to preserve the sulfur and achieve the desired effect. This means that the most suitable time for use is during the dark period.

The treatment takes 8 hours, so you can use a timer to turn the HotBox on and off. As a preventative measure, the HotBox should be used once a week. In cases of ongoing infestation, the HotBox can be used as often as needed, even during each dark period, for a week or until the situation is under control.

For pests: 1 pack of Sulfume is enough to cover an area of 2 to 3m2, for larger areas you can use multiple packages.

In fungal diseases: 1 pack of Sulfume is enough to cover an area of 7 to 9m2, for larger areas you can use multiple packages.

500g of sulfur is enough for +/- 3 months (+/- 550 hours) (see correct use included in the manual in the box).

After two weeks of use, the infected area should be completely dewormed.

DO NOT use Sulfame in the last 2 weeks of harvest.

The regulated elements in the housing make combustion impossible, so there is no risk of fire. The sprayer has the lowest energy consumption on the market! It works with any power source from 110V to 250V, without loss of power. The self-regulating heating plate is made of quality aluminum. This guarantees a long life, without the risk of fractures due to rough use, condensation or sulfur spillage.

When the power is cut off for less than 1 second, the element operates at 100 watts until it reaches the desired temperature and consumption drops to 50 watts to maintain the temperature. At this level, the evaporator is most economical. The automatic control uses new technology and does not work like a traditional thermostat, so it consumes little energy when the temperature changes fluctuate.
