Piranha is a 100% organic (OMRI and OIM Certified) root zone modification product containing 11 beneficial fungal spores . One bottle of Piranha can contain more than 1.4 million colonies of fungi and billions of micro-organisms . These fungal spores become active once dissolved in water. They stimulate root growth and contribute to increased uptake of water and nutrients. Colonies of the fungus can be seen as "hairs" on the root surface and can increase root mass by up to 700%. They work in symbiosis and create a living system around the plant root and substrate. Piranha , the beneficial fungus supplement from Advanced Nutrients , is a blend of twelve species of endomycorrhizal and ectomycorrhizal fungi. These carefully selected and isolated strains of fungi occur naturally in healthy soil and root systems and are harvested from the source.
