The availability of calcium and magnesium in an absorbable form is vital for optimizing the nutrition of fast-growing plants. It helps prevent nutrient deficiencies, supports growth and fertility, and prevents tip burn in particularly intensive crops such as tomatoes and lettuce.
CAL MAG provides concentrated calcium and magnesium in a pure, soluble form that will not clog your drip irrigation/hydroponic system. It can be used as a supplement to most nutrient programs. It also helps counteract calcium build-up when growing in coco, using organic fertilizers, or soaking compressed coco tiles.

WARNING: Do not use soft water fertilizers, FloraCoco® or FloraNova® with GHE: they already contain enough calcium, even for reverse osmosis water.
Application:
- Use 1.5 ml per liter of water for most applications.
- With reverse osmosis water, add 2 ml per liter of water before adding the fertilizers.
- When growing in coco, or when using pre-mixed soil mixes or expanded compressed coco, use 1 to 1.5 ml per liter to wet (saturate) the medium and then add to the nutrient solution at the same rate for the first two weeks. Continuous use may be beneficial for fast-growing annuals.
