The Bluelab Truncheon Meter is a robust and reliable everyday tool for measuring the concentration of nutrients in solution. With Truncheon, you'll ensure your plants get the nutrients they need for superior plant health.
Truncheon is factory calibrated with no moving parts or switches. Simply dip the probe into your feed tank and take the reading shown on the LED display.
How to take your first measurement:
- Remove the meter from the packaging.
- Dip the probe head into your solution.
- Wait about 10 seconds for the thermistor to reach the temperature of the solution.
- Read the measurement indicated by the flashing LEDs. If the flashing lights alternate between two numbers, the measurement is the value between those two numbers. For example, if the lights alternate from 0.8EC and 1.0EC, the reading is 0.9EC.
- Truncheon will turn off after about 10 seconds. If additional measurements are to be taken, remove the stick from the solution, wait a few seconds and reinsert it. It will turn on again.
- We recommend cleaning the probe and checking the accuracy in Bluelab 2.77 EC Solution once a month.
Note: For low or high temperatures, it may take 1-2 minutes for the probe to reach solution temperature. Try placing the probe in an area where there is strong movement of the solution, or stir the solution with the probe.
Tip: In addition to being used to measure nutrient levels, the Truncheon Meter can also be used to stir nutrients into your solution.

The tester is guaranteed against defects for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. During this period, the device can be returned to the seller with proof of purchase (receipt). If a defect is found, it will be repaired or replaced.
This warranty does NOT cover misuse of the device, accidental damage (abrasion, getting wet), repairs by unauthorized persons.

- The delivery time for available products is 24 hours.
- Orders placed by 5:30 PM are fulfilled on the same day and are sent by courier to any point in the country.

- Cash on delivery deliveries - you pay the value of the products to the courier/at the courier's office at the time of delivery.
