The ballasts regulate the voltage supplied to the selected lamp, to the working lamp and to ignite the lamp, creating a high-voltage pulse after the interruption of the starter current. The difference between the two is that the electronic ballast does not require a starter and is usually lighter and less heated. This 600w Electronic Ballast is supplied as a stand-alone ballast with a flying IEC lead so you can add any reflector fitted with an IEC socket to start growing. The ballast features both dim and boost functions, having the ability to control the light output from the lamp.
