Chokes (ballasts) regulate the voltage supplied to the selected lamp, up to the operating voltage for it and ignite the lamp, creating a high-voltage pulse after the interruption of the current from the starter. They are divided into two types - electromagnetic and electronic ballast. The difference between the two is that the electronic ballast does not require a starter and is usually lighter and heats up less. Other advantages are quieter operation than a conventional ballast, increased lamp life by 30% - 50% and reduced light flux pulsations.

​Electronic ballasts change the flow of current in the light bulb using a series of induction coils that are separated from each other. Unlike a magnetic ballast , they use a single induction coil rather than a series of coils. The impulse sent from the ballast to the lamp is faster, which reduces energy consumption . Electronic chokes do not heat up during operation.

The ballast is guaranteed against defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. During this period, the device can be returned to the seller with proof of purchase (receipt). If a defect is found, it will be repaired or replaced.

This warranty does NOT cover misuse of the device, accidental damage (abrasion, getting wet), repairs by unauthorized persons.
